Create Maintenance Ticket (Landlord View)

Create Maintenance Ticket


Learn how to create a Maintenance Ticket for routine maintenance, or on behalf of a resident. 
Residents can create their own tickets directly from their Resident Portal.  These tickets will be visible in your Maintenance Requests Main Menu


Create New Maintenance Ticket

  1. Select Maintenance on the left sidebar

















  1. Click Add Ticket
  2. Complete Maintenance Ticket

    1. Note:  If you assign the ticket to a Vendor, the vendor will receive an email with ticket details
    2. Vendor will be able to update ticket and you will be notified when they have completed their work for
      you to review
  3. Internal Ticket:  If you select Internal Ticket, the resident will not be notified of the ticket or receive updates

  1. Resident will receive an email with the details of the ticket and can also view the ticket in their Resident Portal 
  2. The resident can communicate with you from within the ticket and will also be notified when you close the ticket

  1. Property can Click on the ticket to edit and close, or the ticket can be closed by a service person that is either
    part of your company, or is a third party vendor


  1. This is the same flow for a vendor when they receive an emailed ticket
  2. Click on ticket and then click Print with QR Code

  1. You can print a ticket with a QR code to give to any service person to repair.  The service person can fix the issue and
    take a photo of the QR code which gives them access and update the ticket WITHOUT having a user ID for your system

  2. Vendor Closes Ticket


  1. Property is then emailed that the Ticket is Updated
  1. Ticket Status is now updated to Vendor Complete for Landlord to view and Close


Landlord Closes Ticket (Final)

  1. Landlord can view Ticket updates from the service worker and Close Ticket

  1. Resident Receives an email that their ticket is closed and can view any details you added in the Resident Portal
