Create Document for Signing
Learn how to prepare documents for eSignature if you have already uploaded the documents
From the Uploaded Files Page, click on the three dot menu and click Create Document for Signing
- Add Recipients from Drop Down or Add New. If a lease is chosen, the executed documents
will automatically be stored in the corresponding resident portal and resident detail pages - Add Notes that will appear on email to recipient
- If a Cell Phone Number is added, the recipient will receive a text with a link to sign the documents on mobile devices
- Click Create

- Choose who will populate the document
- Prefill by you is used to enter information the recipient cannot edit such as rent, lease term, etc.
- Prefill by you is also used for you to sign the document
- Choose your fields and drag them into your document
- Text is used for Dollar Amounts and custom text
- Click on the box after dragging to your document to add data
- Send the document
- Recipients will receive an email and text from Renter Insight
- Recipients receive email and text from Renter Insight to sign documents
- Documents can be signed in seconds
- Once all parties sign the documents, you will receive an email notice that the documents are completed
- You can also access the documents at Renter Insight under Documents>Executed
