Renewing a Lease

Renewing a Lease will update the monthly rent (if you change it) and extend the lease term.  These dates are important as they will dictate when Renter Insight stops billing residents for rent and allows a unit to be leased by another party.

Note: Lease documents must be updated separately.

1. On the left sidebar, select Properties>Residents
   
2. Click on the Resident you wish to Renew
   

1. Click Renew/Move-Out
   

1. Select Renew Lease
   
2. Click Continue
   

1. Enter the new Lease End Date.  Please note, the lease start will auto populate as one day after
   the prior lease end date, so there will be no gap in the lease

2. Click Complete Renewal
   

1. The lease is now renewed
   

1. Your residents will receive an email with the new Lease Details
